The hospital’s accident and emergency unit is open 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, with a doctor on call. Specialists are also on call in the event of their expertise being required to manage an emergency.
State of the art facilities and technology include five theatres, two of which are equipped with laminar flow technology; as well as a digital urology theatre and a gastroenterology suite. There are also a cardiac catheterisation laboratory equipped with advanced technology equipment; a six bed intensive care unit, an eight bed high care unit, and a two bed neonatal ICU located in the 12 bed maternity wing. Other facilities include a paediatric unit, sleep laboratory, and pharmacy.
In addition to the cardiac catheterisation laboratory, diagnostic facilities comprise a pathology laboratory and radiology unit including X-rays, a CT scanner, MRI scanner, bone densitometry scanner and sonar equipment.
Accommodation is provided in wards and private rooms, which are luxuriously appointed to promote the comfortable recovery of our patients, complete with value-added services such as an a la carte menu. Just Coffee @ Bay View is also situated on the premises for the comfort of our visitors and patients.

We are searching for doctors with a minimum one year of professional experience in anesthesiology.

Job summary:

- to assist in the management of patients in Critical Care Units and other clinical areas providing specialized support for consultants
- to act as the lead clinician for the resuscitation team
- medical assessment as a member of the hospital Outreach team
- management of patients requiring cardiopulmonary support including intubation, ventilation, management of arrhythmias and management of Critical care patients with multi organ failure

Requirements:

- EU medical diploma
- GMC registration and license to practice
- advanced Life Support provider
- minimum one year of post-graduate experience in anaesthesiology, plus a second year in either intensive care medicine or anaesthesiology


Critical care RMO Competencies:

- Emergency Intubation
- Insertion of central venous catheters
- Insertion of double lumen dialysis catheters
- Insertion of arterial lines ? femoral or radial
- Pain management and administration of sedatives
- Management of tracheostomy tubes
- Insertion of NG tubes
- Insertion of chest drains in emergencies
- Drainage of ascites
- Blood transfusion competencies
- Interpretation of arterial blood gas, pulmonary function tests, ECG, CXR, AXR
- Basic understanding of ventilation techniques and management respiratory
failure
- Completion of Care Bundles




Our offer:
